Closing ceremony of the DreamBuilder women’s entrepreneurship program

We participated in the closing fair of the DreamBuilder program in which the products and services developed by 23 female entrepreneurs from different departments of Guatemala were presented. The Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative – YLAI fellow, Ana María Vásquez, worked for 13 weeks with the entrepreneurs to generate new knowledge of marketing, product development, sales, business plan, among others.

In addition to the exhibitions, visitors had access to different entrepreneurship conferences and a catwalk to see various products and services, such as haircuts and clothing items. The participants also shared how their participation in the program impacted their lives and that of their communities.

We are committed to promoting the prosperity and security of the country by promoting the entrepreneurial spirit. The economic participation of women generates greater opportunities for development and stability for all.
