** When a holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday, most employees observed the holiday on the previous Friday or following Monday, respectively (5 U.S.C. 6103(b) and Executive Order 11582 3(a)).

 **As per Decree 19-2018, if a Guatemalan holiday falls on a Tuesday or Wednesday, it will be observed the prior Monday, and, if it falls on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday. This applies only to Guatemalan Army Day.

** Guatemalan Labor Day and Revolution Day have returned to their original days and dates. The previous Decree 19-2018 only will apply to Guatemalan Army Day.
