Last weekend, 150 girls and young women graduated from the “Círculo de Niñas” program developed by Vital Voices Guatemala in the department of El Quiché, in the villages of Los Angeles, Chacalté and Xix.

During one year, the participants received training in topics of entrepreneurship, financial education, nutrition, health, human rights, and violence prevention. The program is divided into clubs, with approximately 25 girls each, which encourages networking and contact with positive models of successful women.

Through this initiative, we reinforce in girls the confidence in themselves to develop their ideas, use the full potential of their talent, and dare to create real project proposals. We support them so that they are able to reach their goals, we offer them tools with which they can compete against the present challenges, and with those that are prepared to transform their reality.
