The award-winning American journalist Lynne Walker is in Guatemala to share her experiences and transmit modern journalism techniques. She held a workshop at the Rafael Landivar University, Quetzaltenango, where he addressed local journalists, as well as San Marcos and Huehuetenango.
Lynne Walker focuses on investigative journalism to strengthen the preparation of these professionals and to contribute to better informed communities, in which they are allowed to listen to the different social voices and where there is a strong citizen participation.
We work so that our support becomes a tool that serves to emphasize the importance of journalism in the fight against corruption and therefore in the fight against poverty. In addition to being an essential element in democratic societies in which transparency and good governance are a daily exercise.
