“Sabor USA” promotes U.S. food products

Ambassador Todd Robinson and Deputy Chief of Mission, Charisse Phillips, participated in the “Sabor USA” exhibition that brought together a number of leading United States food products as part of an agricultural and commercial promotion in the country.

Both U.S. officials led the delegation that toured the different stands, which featured recipes prepared by renowned Guatemalan chefs with products originating in the United States. This fusion of talent and flavor promoted the values of the Free Market and prosperity.

The United States is one of Guatemala’s main trading partners and the participation of its products in the country strengthens free trade, opening up the opportunity to new markets, healthy competition, more and better jobs, and greater volume of savings and investment.
