USDA Guatemala Launches “Opening Doors” Program (Video)

In the past 15 years, the United States has invested through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) over $ 190 million in school lunches, which is a commitment to support Guatemala to build safer, healthier, and more productive communities.

The “Opening Doors” program is part of the efforts to provide technical assistance to teachers and community leaders, as well as providing resources for primary school sites in communities struggling against poverty, malnutrition, and disease children. The program will be implemented by Catholic Relief Services Guatemala.
